Now that we found that she is seaworthy it is time to finish our Diablo.

In the spring of 2005 John started the center console for our Diablo. It started with a simple drawing of the console as shown below.

We used a skeleton of 1x1's for strength. and skinned the outside with 1/4 inch plywood. We then taped the seams and applied a couple coats of epoxy. (Below Left) The next step was building a bracket to hold the center console to the floor. (Below Right)

In this picture notice the two arrows pointing to the supports. These will be epoxied to a peace of 1/2 inch plywood and attached to the floor. The console will then slide onto the support bracket and connected with nut and bolts.
